********************************************************* Update: You can print a Printable Ranger Interceptor too! *********************************************************
I printed the prototype in December (-ish) and this morning I fixed some of the issues I saw (cockpit window rails were wrong for one) and added some detail.
Not sure how long it will take to make it possible for others to use and whether or not I put it up on Etsy (or something like it) or on Thingiverse. The amount of hours that have gone into to it are substantial, yet it felt good to hold the model after printing. It's about 11" in length when printed, so it's a substantial hunk of plastic.
The ship was great, perfect.
If you decide to share your work,
If you decide to put 'your plans '... ( like Waldo I would pay to have them so that I can make one for me ... but it would no longer be solely yours.
And if you already did the Ranger-1 ... uff! just thinking about it excites me!
Thank you very much for sharing.
You are ... our Waldo (so wise and mathematical engineer when he gives the humans the hyperdrive blueprints.
Give me time to show my-your interceptor!
I hope mine looks like yours.
