A fan of the show and friend of the site, MT, was able to purchase a folder last year that contained the Galaxy Rangers licensing kit. In it is an array of the original character art, vehicle art, and color schemes. There are a couple of handwritten notes around toys, it looks like there were pencil toppers (erasers) in mind.
MT loaned me the package this past week and I have scanned the entire package. I am reviewing the scans (I have a couple to redo) and will be resizing|watermarking the pictures over the next month or so (there are 120 scans, some duplicate images) and I'll be releasing them to the site here.
This one I found neat and if it ever got made, I can't find one: a luggage tag!

Check this out (note the wording):
Re: Galaxy Rangers Licensing Kit
WoW!! It is very interesting: it is the opening text of the series but expanded where there is all the necessary information.
officially, Goose is not a metamorph but he is a chameleon ...,
cool documents! congratulations, Beta! All of that is fantastic.
As I read this document, I realized that in the booklet that comes with the German DVDs and in the Annual Marvel book, Zachery is 32 years old. In this documents, he's 35.

Re: Galaxy Rangers Licensing Kit
These documents are from 1986: why did I think that at first, they didn't want to produce a line of GR toys?
I think I read in an interview with Mr. Mandell that he himself said he did not want to market the series with toys ... and in 1986, in the year of the series' launch, there are these documents to make one.
Am I getting confused?

Re: Galaxy Rangers Licensing Kit
I think that Mandell and his creative partners always realized that Galaxy Rangers was a very "toyetic" property, but they wanted the show to come first -- which is the opposite of how action/adventure cartoons were usually done in the 80s. I wonder how the show would have been different if the writers had had a bunch of toy company executives looking over their shoulders...MaryNiko wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 9:31 am These documents are from 1986: why did I think that at first, they didn't want to produce a line of GR toys?
