Author: Lindsay Buroker
Title: The Emperor's Edge
Genre: Steampunk, Fantasy, Scifi
Description & reviews: see Goodreads https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/100 ... ror-s-edge
Why I do believe that GR fans might enjoy this: character dynamics, action & humor, and a plot that makes good use of it all!

Disclaimer: I am guilty of loving this series to pieces and having participated not only in its -now defunct- fan forum, but also written a few fanfics about it. You can find those and my own review of the book series (and it's equally delicious prequel series "The Forgotten Ages" on my homepage, if you are interested.

Neuromancer

Author: William Gibson
Title: Neuromancer
Genre: Cyberpunk
Description & reviews: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/888628.Neuromancer
Why I do believe that GR fans might enjoy this: Before Doc was sending his tweakers into computers to hack them, Case was jacking into cyberbase and running against the deadliest A.I.'s on the net with the assist of the Dixie Flatline (the ROM recording of McCoy Pauley's mind. McCoy was one of the best hackers in the business until his death). The story has a health dose of hacking and unhealthy dose of drugs that plague Case while he works through the story.

This is one of my all-time favorite stories and Gibson is one of my favorite authors. My copy of this book is original and tattered.

I was not aware of the following, but for the full Galaxy Ranger tie-in, note who the adapter is in the following link:

It's a science book, but not fiction. Sadly they are real facts: it's about how the Ebola virus appeared, how it spread around the world and the research they did. Being frivolous, it reminds me how they created the juice formula of the supertroopers, although unfortunately, the Ebola, is our reality, it is not a script of some drawings. A story of those that impact ...
