This is my take on Eliza's rescue. The first draft of this was written around the year 2k, but my skills as a writer weren't yet up to handle this plot properly. I've been editing it for the last... about 4 years & hope it was worth the effort. If you are one of the few people who got to see an early draft: be surprised about how much it has changed since then. :-)
